Children are not always able to process grief as adults would. They often struggle with expressing their emotions about the loss. Younger children sometimes do not understand. Camille will share with you ways for children to express their loss utilizing art and play. It’s important to understand when a child is angry there is often an underlying cause and in those who have suffered a loss, they may not understand why they are angry but that may be the only way they know how to express.
Camille Cole is a mental health clinician with a MS in Mental Health Counseling as well as a Grief & Motivational Coach. She came into this field to assist individuals who are dealing with anxiety, depression, or difficulty in finding their way. After experiencing the loss of her husband several years ago, she had a desire to help others who are grieving. Camille never had the opportunity to work with someone who understood what she was experiencing, and she was left to find her own way. She has taken her loss and utilized its purpose in helping others to not feel alone and to be there in support. She utilizes active listening skills, compassion, and strength-based approaches to assist others who have experienced loss.
