Exploring Skills for a Meaningful Career (Fall Session)

Destinee Boublet

Presented by Destinee DeCosta-Boubert

After the loss of a spouse, one of many challenges may be returning to the workforce, finding a new direction and a new source of income.  Where do you begin?  How do you navigate the job market and job search technology?  How do you write a resume and interview for a job when you are grieving and just trying to find your way?  This class is being facilitated by a fellow widow who had to answer these questions for herself and has become a life coach as a result.  Join this class and you will find skills and confidence alongside other widows in similar circumstances.

This class is being facilitated by a fellow widow who had to answer these questions for herself and has become a certified life coach as a result.  In October 2019, at age 27, Destinee Boubert became a widow and solo mom. In an instant, her world was turned upside down when her husband’s unexpected passing left her grappling with life without her biggest motivator and supporter.

Destinee’s desire to work with widows and widowers has evolved. She became a certified Life Coach for widows and widowers in July 2020 and opened her life coaching business. She is focused on assisting widowed individuals to move forward in life and looks to her faith to give her the perseverance and guidance she needs.
