Losing a loved one is one of the most painful experiences life can throw at us. The death of a spouse is the most stressful event possible; life changes in a heartbeat. And our mission is to help new widows and widowers during this very uncertain and scary time. We help change lives by helping them navigate the financial trauma most experience following the loss of a spouse. This trauma could be the loss of income, moving into more affordable housing or moving in with relatives, putting children into different schools, or going back to work.
And then there’s the whole administrative side of loss – the mountain of forms and checklists that need completing. It can be overwhelming.
Volunteering is the simplest way to support our mission. With more than 50 volunteers engaged with us, we rely on our volunteers to fill both leadership and non-leadership roles. We are always looking for potential board members, financial advisors, marketers and others to help us meet the growing demand for our services.
Please fill out this form if you are interested in learning more about our current volunteer opportunities and a representative will contact you. Thank you.
We are always seeking financial advisors with Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) credentials who want to “give back” to their communities. Because financial planning experience is a must, we only work with CFP® professionals. Join our team of nationwide coaches to serve the underserved widow community.
