Who We Are Wings for Widows is a non-profit focused on guiding widows to financial wellness Our vision: Envisioning a world in which widows are knowledgeable and empowered to manage the financial transition that results from losing a spouse. Our mission: We provide personalized financial wellness coaching to help the widowed move forward with confidence and hope. Our history: Established in 2018 by our executive director, Christopher Bentley, the organization seeks to help newly widowed women and men to financial wellness. Wings for Widows helps widowed men and women navigate the trauma of loss to regain financial stability and the chance for a brighter future. With free, professional, personalized coaching and education, widowed individuals receive guidance and encouragement at a pivotal point in life. Wings for Widows engaged nearly 2,100 clients in 2023, working toward their vision of ensuring all widowed persons have access to financial literacy education.
