Cyndy Montgomery

Cyndy Montgomery is a retired wealth advisor at Strata Wealth Advisors. She helped families navigate their retirement, investment, and estate planning with over 25 years of experience. Cyndy started as a financial analyst and a senior auditor where she earned enthusiastic respect from her peers and gained tremendous knowledge in finance and leadership. In 1999, Cyndy founded an independent advisory firm from which she retired in 2024. The firm’s clients and staff are still going strong. Cyndy is a multi-year recipient of the Best Financial Planners in Dallas Award in D Magazine including 2020, 2019 and 2018. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association and a former member of the board of trustees for Girls Incorporated of Metropolitan Dallas Foundation. Cyndy attended the University of Arkansas and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She received a Master of Business Administration degree with a Financial Services emphasis from the University of Dallas. Cyndy is happily married to her husband, Don, and they love to travel to new places each year. She has made her home in Dallas for more than 30 years. Cyndy joined Wings for Widows soon after retirement as a Financial Coach to use her knowledge to help others. She has always loved finance and helping her clients and wanted to continue with this wonderful organization.
