David Scureman
Before transitioning into financial planning, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from the Culinary Institute of America. I spent several years managing finances and operations for large privately held boutique restaurant groups across the country. This hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and making data-driven financial decisions sparked my interest in finance, motivating me to pursue further education. I obtained my Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in finance from Southern New Hampshire University.
I also earned my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification from the College for Financial Planning. This designation has equipped me with advanced tools and knowledge to address various financial challenges, including retirement planning, tax strategies, estate planning, and risk management. My approach emphasizes building lasting relationships and providing ongoing support, ensuring clients feel empowered to make informed financial decisions.
