Who I work with:

I primarily serve high income earners, especially small business owners in blue collar professions. They typically feel like they are doing ok financially, but don’t always feel organized and are wondering if they have done enough. They are starting to think about retirement and are concerned about the impact taxes and inflation will have on their financial life because they don’t want to run out of money.

My average client makes over $150K annually, has an investment portfolio of $700K and a networth of $1.5MM. For small business owners, often the bulk of their net worth is tied to the company they own. Retirement is on the horizon. But they are not sure that they are prepared as they could be and want to make sure all the pieces of their financial puzzle fit together.

What I do for them:
I work with my clients by helping them get organized. Then we talk about what is important to them and build a financial strategy to support these things. Yes, we build investment portfolios. But we take it beyond that, focusing on taxes and cashflow so they don’t have to worry about their financial future.

Why I do this:
I am the son of a farmer and daycare provider. Growing up money wasn’t discussed. As a result, when I became an adult, I didn’t feel financially organized or informed. There wasn’t a lot to go around, but I never felt like we didn’t have enough. Mom and dad did a great job of saving when and where they could.

After my dad passed away, I witnessed the stress my mom went through worrying if she had enough. I worked with her to get her organized and through that she realized she was going to be financially ok.

I now view it as my responsibility to help my clients feel informed, organized, and secure. I love puzzles, and I meet a lot of people with a box full of pieces and no clear vision of what the picture looks like. It thrills me to help them build their picture and organize their pieces.
